Default M101-5 and M101-4 Hall of Famers for Sale

Posted By: Paul

I have an M101-5 Harry Hooper and an M101-4 Rube Marquard for sale. The prices are $165 for the Hooper and $145 for the Marquard, or $290 for both. All prices are postpaid, but insurance is extra.

The Hooper has no creases, a nice photo, and only modest corner wear. The front should grade Ex. The back has blue staining. My guess is that it was placed against a sheet of blue paper for a long time, or placed against a wet sheet of blue paper for a short time. There is no paper loss, and no added paper or glue. I have had several M101-5s with this exact same staining issue, probably all from the same original collection.

The Marquard is also crease free with only modest corner wear and a nice picture. It has brown toning on the bottom of the card that would probably lower the grade of the front to VG+ if people graded fronts. The back has brown toning, but again no paper loss, added paper, or glue. It also has what might be some very light, illegible writing which shows up quite well in the scan.

Here are the scans. Its always best to email me at both pstewart@kmob.com and pch103@kmob.com.
