John,

Without seeing the whole bat and without dimensions, your bat appears to be a teens, possibly early 20's bat. Model 83 bats were usually kids bats (31 inches or shorter) and go back into the 19th century with different logos.

This one is 35". There is nothing imprinted on the barrel or the knob.
