I am just finding this site and am enjoying all the pics and great old stuff. As soon as I can get pictures together I'll post two items picked up recenlty (1) 1925 Washington Senators Season pass (have found NO helpful information about this) (2) Group of 4 old bats inlcuding what I think is the first issue(1897 - 1905)J.F. Hillrich, a flat-top ringed Reach bat, and two other neat old ones. Enough about future postings. Here is a program I picked for $25 online. It's a 1919 Yankees vs. St. Louis Browns Scorecard, One year too early for Ruth, not a game George Halas played in (He played a dozen games in 1919 for the Yanks) infamous Wally Pipp is playing as is G. Sisler for the Browns. Notice the name of the stadium...Brush Stadium. (I havn't found much to compare this with in terms of price. What do you think it might bring on the open market? |
