I picked this up recently because I thought it looked neat. Anyone have any ideas on what was packed in it originally...maybe just gum? Date? I think it looks about 1940's-1950's but not sure....thanks much

Thanks.....I think this wrapper might have actually been cut in half as it almost seems too thin to be issued this way....(not thin paper but thin side to side)....thanks for the input....

Dan- since it says it's a gum wrapper I would guess it either held gum or had to do with gum....but mainly I am trying to find a date (period) of issue. Right now I have it listed as 1940's...but it could be later...

It may have been that the gum was shaped like Trident.. You know, the little rectangle...
