As I mentioned in a previous post, I purchased this ad piece on ebay because I had a nice example of the Ruth figural lying around. Just switched them out and am happy with the results. It sure was cheaper to buy the component parts $14 for the ad and $28 for the figural. This is probably a $150 piece.

Thank goodness that wasn't a baseball card or you would have been drawn and quartered.

Very cool beer and baseball piece. I've never seen that before in my years of collecting both.

Great job Mike... It looks perfect, and you saved tons of cash doing it this way. I have seen this piece (in nice condition) sell as high as $350 in various catalogue auctions (Ron Oser, Hunt Internet, etc.)

Still an undervalued Babe Ruth piece, IMO.
