Just picked up a magazine from 1743 which contains an article about the evils of public and/or proffessional cricket matches. i was struck how these were the same arguments used against baseball in America 130 years later. As a side note can anyone explain the use of "f" in the place of "s" |

The "f" is simply just an "s" |
