I was wondering if anyone knows of any books or resources that list private or regional bat manufacturers? If anyone knows of anything that could help, I would appreciate it. Thanks. |

Good question. Does anyone have any links or at least references to old SCD or Mears articles on the topic? |

The Mains company made bats under 3 different company names, Mains & Dolly in the 1890's, W.E. Mains in the early 1900's and J.R. Mains in the 20's. |

The Mains bats that I have are from Sandy Creek and Harrison Maine. I live in Harrison, but there is no information on where the factory was or when it was there. Sandy Creek is a neighborhood in Bridgton and I have seen one bat stamped Bridgton Maine. |
