The "La-zsoe-way" ("zsoe" as in "Zsa Zsa Gabor") is derivative from the French Canadian pronunciation of the true French "La-zswah". Napoleon was of French Canadian descent if I recall correctly, so the first pronunciation I mentioned is probably correct. |
