Around Willie Mays' 50th birthday, I had him personalize and '57 Topps Mays. So he signed the card, "To Peter, thanks for remembering my birthday. Willie Mays."

I must have been drunk or something but I traded the card away for a baseball signed by Mickey Mantle on the sweet spot. I suppose maybe the autographed baseball is worth more but the autographed card meant more and I should have never let it slip from my grasp.

The trade was done at a card show. I'm not sure what the guy's name was.
