Obviously I can't guarantee that that particular card is kosher but if I needed that card and liked the price I would have no qualms pursuing it with that seller.

I'd ask the seller why his other sales are graded cards. I'd tell him you plan to get it graded and ask if he would guarantee your money back if it was returned from PSA (or whoever) as fake or trimmed or something.
