Now, I am not an expert in Cracker Jacks but Broadway Rick (groan) has listed 4 or 5 of the toughest including the Jackson on ebay. And he has recieved a lot of bids because he says they are 100% Authentic. The scans make them look extremely fake to me. Black and white backs? Ultra-white borders? How can people be bidding on these? And of course, no returns at all. <shaking my head in disgust> |

I too seen these and ugh ! They look sorta hazy and the borders are too too white,I cannot believe that one would jeopardize their credibility in such a obvious way. Maybe he was drunk at purchase point and wants to off them on one of us. |

Looks like ebay pulled the auctions, they were listed in the gallery of pre-1930 ungraded... |

This is a 1915 Cracker Jack I bought for too much, and the stain on the top was so bad, you could hardly read the "Cracker Jack" (sorry, I don't have "before and after" pictures). After two years of being stored in Mylar, it's still stained, but only mildly (the back escaped, for some reason). |
