These surfaced about the same time as the fake Nodgrass cards and have most likely been lasered off like the Nodgrass, they originated out of PA as well.

Given PSA's penchant for missing these letter erasures, I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole-o.

Adam's point is that numerous "nodgrass" fakes have slabbed by PSA. And if memory serves me right, this included slabbing poses for which this variation does not exist. This being the case, if someone that is faking a "nodgrass", they could jsut as easily create new variations and get them past PSA.

It's an SGC-graded card. PSA had nothing to do with it, as Dave implied. And if it's worth more to someone than a common Mitchell, more power to the seller.
