but PRO is not a legitimate grading company. Locating a PRO error or trim-job is no big deal.

What are you master of the obvious now Scott? I was being facetious.

Seems you are still a little touchy over my GAI post - do you have a GAI investment, or is this just a bad hair day?

Not touchy at all Scott. Just my observation when cards are flooded onto the market in a short period of time. Only have 3 GAI cards myself (see my opinion on GAI on the other thread).

I apologize - I still have a large arthropod lodged up my posterior over the recent SGC flubs, so I'm in a "slabs suck" mind-set. I realize that there are a lot of valid reasons for slabbing cards, but my main interest is protection and presentability.

This might sound goofy, but I think a "grade your own card" slabbing company might be a decent idea - you simply send the card in for slabbing, and the card is returned protected in a high-quality holder with a label containing all information except grade. Kind of like putting a card in a top-loader or screw-down, except it's better protected and looks better. I could go with "authentic" as well, provided "authentic" did not insinuate alterations.

I would do that in a heart beat. Send in my cards to be slabbed like SGC, which I think has a nicer presentation than most PSAs, but not graded. Most of my cards would grade below SGC 30 anyway but the slabs are nice and present well...Now if only I did not waste my start up capital on T-212s and T-205s

I like that.
Count me in.

OK, now who's going to work on the new T206 holder album, and how many new holder pages will it need?
Any thoughts?

Gotta go.
On my way to the gym to bolster my arms strength.
