Boston Garter box

Hey Folks,
I have yet to get the cards from the Boston Garter set but have received an offer to buy one of the boxes the garters came in. I have a pic at home (am at work now) and was wondering how scarce they are and the market value. It is a very ornate and nice looking box. Again, I understand the term "market value" is a moving target but has anyone seen one sold and for how much? The offer is to buy it for around $400.00 (in a trade).....I have no clue as I have never seen another one but an ephemera expert has told me that they are not that scarce.....best regards

$400 sounds too expensive to me. If you wait, another example will appear on the market. I recall seeing one on eBay that had the garters inside, and I don't think it sold for $400.
