Posted By: Todd (nolemmings) Assuming these are real, how tragic that someone would have done such a terrible thing to these cards.... |

Posted By: jay behrens for my player set, I could live with those cards, especially the Jax, since finding a cheap one is not going to be easy. |

Posted By: Jay Miller The cards look to grainy to be real, unless the scan has really distorted the images. |

Posted By: Todd (nolemmings) Since I have no intention of bidding on this set, I did not look closely. Now that you mention it, though, the cards seem to lack the somewhat glossy appearance of the CMs. Also, it was my understanding that blank-backed CMs are slightly more difficult to find than the regular ones with the ad. It seems a little odd that this seller's entire set is made up only of blank-backed versions. |

Posted By: jeff s if this guy is faking c-m's, if he faked mint cards, he's gotta convince a serious collector (someone with lots of cash, anyway) that they're real. |

Posted By: warshawlaw About a year ago a dealer in LA showed me a very similar set he had picked up. Since I do not collect trimmed cards, I gave it very little time, other than to remark on how much it sucked that a kid had done that to such nice cards. The stock and gloss on what I saw looked good. Obviously, I have no idea if these are the same cards. |
