On the pin on the right? They have 'mascot' on the back of them. Don't see them anywhere in the guides. The Diamond Gums I can find (at least in the guides.....anyone got any for sale?). Any info on the Mascots appreciated including value?

According to the Sports Collector's Bible, the Mascot Gum pins were issued in 1910 or 1911 and all pins picture members of the Rochester team. The set is PE-3 in the bible, PE-1 in the ACC.

The players are:
Anderson, Blair, Holmes, Lafitte, McConnell, Manning, Moeller, Moran, Osborne, Ragon, Savidge, Simmons, Spencer, Tooley

As for value, I would guess around $100 would be the "book" value...slightly less than the common Major League players in the closely related Diamond Gum set ($150), but more than the more common (and recent) Mrs. Sherlocks and Kolb's Mothers' ($50-60). These might be tougher than the Diamond Gums, but the demand has got to be far less...

I see that the pin you have in the scan is not one of the ones in the Bible, so I guess that's at least one more. Does anyone have or know of any others besides Batch and the ones in the SCB?
