Just joined, quick into.
I got back in to collecting the past couple of years. Was an 80s/90s kid, might have been junk, but I thought I had treasures. Modern brought me back in, wanted to collect the new faces of my Detroit teams. Over the last few months I decided to go vintage and start with Tigers HOF and or names on the wall at Comerica. Started with Kaline as my must have, and I have done pretty well with others via ebay and my LCS. Curremtly in pursuit of Greenberg, Crawford, and of course Cobb. Condition doesn't matter too much, really just want to own something from their actual playing days. Anyway, hi! |

Howdy! Welcome to the forum, you are gonna love it, folks are friendly and super knowledgeable, its a gem for sure!
My local minor league team was a Tigers affiliate when I was growing up so I always had an affinity for the late 70's early 80's club. |

Welcome aboard. The only Tiger I collect is Osvaldo J. "Ozzie" Virgil, Sr. Utility player for the Detroit Tigers in 1958 and 1960-1961. 174 hits and 14 home runs in 9 MLB seasons. In 1958, was first black player to play for the Detroit Tigers. First Dominican to play in MLB. Debuted with the New York Giants in 1956.

Welcome and good luck. You should have access to quite a few cards you are looking for in the BST areas.
Here's a Greenberg (NFS) because, around here, we think all threads need a card..

Eye appeal is nice and all, but “own appeal” is the best kind of appeal. Welcome!
