Fs-50’s copper dipped football cleat
This must have been important enough to someone enough to have had someone dip it in copper… shout looks to have the dam leather stitch pattern of the riddell snug tie model made in the 50’s and 60’s. This shoe measures 12” by 4” and is pretty heavy. There is tape wrapped around the toe (a kicker perhaps?) and the spikes look to have some remnants of dirt and grass prior to being dipped. Very cool and mysterious piece that was clearly a trophy of sorts for someone…
