Default 2008 Stadium Sketch card identification

I am going through my forgotten boxes of old sports cards and came across this one. I do remember pulling it from the pack way back when, but didn't think much of it at the time. I can't find a complete checklist so I do not know who this is or what this card might be worth. This is my first time posting so any info you might have would be super helpful!

You posted in the vintage and pre war section. Scroll down to the modern section and post there. You will get more eyes on your thread.

I'd also suggest you post this on tcdb.com in its Card Identification Forum.

Net54 is easily the best place for pre-war and vintage cards, but TCDB is probably better for a card from 2008.

Based on the checklist you have the Chase Utley card, and just looking at pictures of him from that time period it is a good likeness.

Artist is Rich Molinelli. He's still active as a sketch artist. To a Phillies collector, this sketch would be about $100 is my guess.

I don't know what to make of the odds. Baseballcardpedia says the sketch cards were 1:38 packs.

https://baseballcardpedia.com/index....8_Stadium_Club

But while it says "?" for number of cards in the checklist, if you scroll down it says there were 100 of them. If they are 1/1s, then the odds don't make sense.

Sketch cards are way undervalued compared to other 1/1s, but I like them.

They can create 100 sketches of Chase Utley and all of them are 1/1s because they're all unique art.

Early non-sports sets used to actually number sketch cards based on how many the artist did, but since they are all (usually*) unique art, that kind of faded away.

*some artists took this way too far, like Ryan Waterhouse who basically became a laughingstock for drawing the same crappy picture of the Indiana Jones monkey or skull for a thousand sketch cards. While he can be a talented artist, his rep was trashed for mailing it in. Now Topps only paid a couple of dollars per sketch card produced, but most artist had more pride than that.
