Default "1904 Anonymous Cabinets"

I may have missed it, but has there been any discussion of this article on Love of the Game's website about the "1904 Anonymous Cabinets"?

https://loveofthegameauctions.com/an...bby-discovery/

The article concludes the cards were likely issued in 1907 by the American League Publishing Company, the same company that printed a set of rare and desireable postcards in 1908. The article also includes a picture of an original ad for the cards, featuring a checklist of all cards that could be ordered -- 350 of them. The set included both current and former players. I'm not 100% sure the advertised set is in fact the same set that has been catalogued as the 1904 Anonymous Cabinets. But it sure was interesting reading, at least for me.

First time reading this, I have one "Anonymous" left and have had others. While never really researching to see when or where they might have come from, the one thing in the ad that seems to Not make sense is the mention "these are real photographs, not reproductions" which the Anonymous cabinets we know are just half-tone prints and not real photographs? But the checklist and team correlation certainly seem to make sense.
