One of the favorite pieces in my collection. Last year, I finally saw a second example.

Default HOF Nolan Ryan Angels original photo and HB Dutch Leonard 1916 no-hitter game ball

I'm not sure that I have ever shared this photo on net54.
Here is an 24" x 28" original Angels photo of HOF Nolan Ryan that hangs in my office that was a Christmas gift from my very good friend Tom Duino 15-20 years ago.
This image harkens to his days that he absolutely dominated American League hitters during 1973-1974.
I absolutely love it!

The other item, is a game used and inscribed ball from HB Dutch Leonard's 1st no-hitter on August 30, 1916 against the St. Louis Browns.
This was only the 2nd no-hitter ever pitched at historic Fenway Park.

Certainly one of the centerpieces of my advanced no-hitter collection, it makes me smile every time I look at it.

I haven’t shared this one in quite awhile. My son bought me this oversized 1955 Type 1 photo of a 21 year old Al Kaline. I’m biased but I think it’s gorgeous. The lighting and pose are classic.

Mike,
I'd have to agree that it's brilliant.
Kaline was a natural. He never played a game in the minors!
Thanks for sharing this photo.

I love this item as a life long Yankees fan. One of John Sterling's scorecards from a radio broadcast:

Jackie Robinson Day lineup card from August 28, 2020.

Due to C19, MLB moves Jackie Robinson Day to August 28, 2020. The date coincides with the March on Washington in 1963 as well as Jackie's meeting with Branch Rickey in 1945 to discuss his future in the big leagues, as depicted in the photo from The Jackie Robinson Story (1950). As fate would have it, Chadwick Boseman, who played Jackie in the biopic "42" also passed away on this day.

Here's a couple of mine:

- 1955 Mays All-Stars Program - This was arguably the greatest barnstorming team ever assembled with Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Larry Doby, Monte Irvin and others. Items from the tour are exceedingly difficult to find, and this program, scored in impeccable handwriting, is from a Mays walk-off HR win.

- Clinching game of the 1981 World Series. The culimation of Fernando-Mania, a strike season etc.

Mo's 380th save. This ball is maybe that much cooler than other save balls because the box score shows the last out of save #380 was a line drive back to Mo himself:

Ty Cobb signed this at the request of my grandfather, who gave it to his son Don, who later gave it to me.

My game used ball hit by Lou Gehrig in 1929. Bought it on the BST a number of years ago.
