Default WTB (Again)Hager’s Comprehensive Price Guide

FOUND A COPY ON AMAZON…paid for it, waited two weeks, then got a notice yesterday thru Amazon that the seller could not find the book….YET…..it was still for sale by them , online for $100 more than the agreed price. Finally got Amazon on the phone and made sure my refund etc was in place…soooooo

STILL Looking for a copy of Hager’s pictured here.
THANKS, Mike

Actually , found it on Amazon and the seller knocked $100 off the price. I knew it would be tuff, but you never know till you try.

Any reason why this one is so rare/expensive? I figure the standard catalogue has far more rare sets listed and is way more recent.

the hager book...of which I still have a copy...was pure fantasy at the time of it's publication.

Hager attempted to translate coin grading service to sports cards...ASA I believe. Many of the cards his service entombed were trimmed. His price guide purported values that took decades to materialize.

There's a nice one on ebay for $40 hope you didn't overpay by too much.

You could not get this one for $40…..at least I don’t think you could.
That one you site on EBay is a different guide which includes other sports cards. ( Football etc) Compare the pictures.
