Default Happy 75th TBob

-
Wishing TBob a happy 75th birthday. Bob helped me finish my E98 Master and along with Wayne got me hooked on E94's (shame on both of you). Two cards away from an E94 Master is an incredible accomplishment and I hope you close it out.

Bobs comments/knowledge on the set are invaluable on this sub, would still like to see a re-visit discussion on the Orange E94's at some point.

Happy Birthday Bob, thanks for sharing your knowledge and here's to many more years of collecting.

-Phil

Bob would have fit right in with guys like Jeff Burdick and Lionel Carter. He's got a filing cabinet for a brain. A great collector and a very nice man. Happy 75th Birthday, old friend. I'll be pulling the same trick in April. Let me know if the coast is clear.

The boys all wish you a happy birthday!

Just by chance, had a great conversation with Bob at a show years ago. A fountain of knowledge. Bob, please consider posting more and raise the cumulative IQ of this community when it comes to prewar cards!

Happy birthday!

Three quarters of a century... Keep going, TBob. Happy Birthday!!!
David Mc, keep an eye on those Winchester and Maysville rascals, they look like they were trouble back in their days.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and really nice comments. I’m still working on completing some sets, seems like there aren’t as many set collectors around as there used to be. A wise fellow collector once told me two things: 1) collect what you love and 2) knowledge is power in the hobby and the more you know about cards and their history, the better.
Thanks for all the help I’ve received along the way from fellow collectors. Your advice has been invaluable.

Best regards,
Bob
No I am still looking for the E94 dark green Cobb and the violet Lajoie. Got outbid on the Cobb in REA the other night, but I’ll keep trying Aaron!
