Johnny Vander Meer signed photo with Joe Beggs letter on reverse.
Hi guys would anyone have any sources as to who Joe Beggs best friend in baseball was that he was sending the photo of Vander Meer too?

Joe Beggs was a close friend of Johnny Vander Meer.
Vander Meer famously lived on Leona Dr. in Tampa for many years. He was simply writing a note to whoever the OP was that had apparently asked him who his closest friend was in baseball in a letter that he sent to Beggs. He also had sent Beggs a photo for him to sign of himself. Beggs gifted this Vandy photo to the OP. I hope this helps.
