Default Lionel Carter - 1937 Kaw Chief Stamp Journal - Feb 7, 1937

I picked up this cool Journal from the first Vintage Non Sports, Sports Auction. Anything about our hobby from the 1930s is exceedingly rare. Enjoy...

Feb of 1937, wow!
Great reading anything about or from Mr. Carter

Here's one of his cards, wonder when he got it?

Interesting. By early 1937 Lionel (and the card collecting community) was just learning of the high # series (80-180) of Batter-Up, which was printed in 1935-36 and was actually numbered to 192.
Information sure traveled slowly.

Thanks for posting Leon!
