Early Photo Identification Help

Hi-

I have another question mark photo in my collection I wanted to ask about. I bought it because I have a bat that is similar to the one pictured (thin handle, flat barrel top). Is there any chance this is a known player? I bought it assuming it was a local player from the Waterbury area but I always like to check. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
