I’ve only toyed with picking up a Grover Cleveland Alexander card (playing day card) as part of my HOF set.
I’m wondering what members here consider his best, or their favorite card of his might be?

That's a tough question because everyone has different tastes. Since I only have a few right now (used to have lots) I'll show this one again with the pack it came in...

I'll go with the 1914 T222 Fatima. - not my card. - |

I don't have any of his cards, not real from his playing days anyway, so I will go with the 1926 World Series game 7 story, striking out Tony Lazzeri of the Yankees in relief, helping ensure the Cardinals won their first world series championship. By the way, the Cardinals, not the Dodgers, are second to the Yankees in world series championships.

Coincidentally, the E121 that Leon posted is the one I chose for my personal collection, but my favorite of his is the 1913 National Game/Tom Barker Game because of the price for his first non-oversized/silk/etc card. The image is great, too.
I love the National Game/Tom Barker cards a lot more than some, though. They're relatively great deals with great images and there's a decent amount in nice shape out in the wild. If oversized is on the menu for you, his M101 Sporting News is really nice. |

Since I only collect full-color cards, this is my favorite . . .

I eventually need him for my HOF collection. There's a compelling argument here to go for the T222 Fatima.

I couldn't find a card in my price range that I liked, so I went with this notebook cover.

I have a unique card of Alex, a PC featuring him clean shaven with the House of David Team. He apparently, unlike his teammates, refused the hirsute approach.
