I am looking for info on 1955 Topps signed cards. When viewing the PSA/DNA pop report I assume that the numerical grade is for the auto only, not the card. Can duel graded cards pop reports be found on PSA?

The # is the card condition, not the auto condition. Auto grading does not show in the pop report for a card set. Many people only got the card authenticated, until maybe 2018 when they started doing dual grading.

One thing to note is that PSA's registry catalog is not perfect. People that sign someone else's card will be counted as the player on the card. So if Roger Maris Jr. signed his father's cards, they would still show up in the PSA/DNA tab as signed by Roger himself. It also fails to account for all the cards signed that only go through autograph authentication (formerly blue flips), because PSA is not authenticating the card.
I'm sure there are also a bunch of counterfeits that are in the DNA pop report from the red flip era before dual grading when they were not authenticating the card, but they may still show up in the pop.

They also don't seem to update it as often as they should, you can have a card signed by someone and graded by PSA but it won't be listed.

Sometimes, but can you post an example?

I hope this helps. I have a rookie card autographed by someone other than the person on the card. The autograph and card are both graded. The label reflects the card grade, autograph grade, and the name of the signer. The card is a 9 and autograph is a 7. It is listed in the PSA/DNA pop report as a signed card, graded a 9. The pop report does not reflect the person that autographed the card.

Yeah, I'm aware of that one and have mentioned it in the past. I just used Roger Maris Jr. as the example this time. It shows in the PSA/DNA pop report as being signed by Pat, despite being correct on the label. It's a flaw in their site design that they haven't attempted to fix.
I was asking for Ed's example where cards with dual grading were not in the POP report (or heavily delayed).

ImE as soon as it ships, it's listed in the pop report.
Also, 2 1952 cards I noticed were suddenly pop 1s, eventually came for sale months after

Not quite what you're asking about, but I have four autographs that are authenticated by PSA with the sticker that don't come up when you put the number in. I know you can contact them to get it fixed which I'm going to have to do, But if this is happening you can imagine how many other autographs aren't in the pop report correctly.

The process has changed with PSA through the years as technology advanced. At least now when you send a card in for dual grading, it should populate in both the PSA pop report and the PSA/DNA pop report. There is no way that autographed cards submitted at different times through the years can now be populated into the data base.
I do wish the current system would be enhanced to show the number of autograph grades for a particular card. I have a couple thousand autographed cards, but only a few I have sent in for dual grading. Here is an example. I submitted a 51 autographed Whitey Ford card in for dual grading (see attached). When finished, it populated in both the PSA and PSA/DNA pop report, but I can't determine how many PSA 10 autographs are out there - only the number that have been turned in for dual grading. By the way, if the card is turned in for autograph authentication and grading only (not the card), it will not enter into the population report as the label only reflects Trading Card (or something similiar). As a footnote, I only have a couple of cards that are signed by someone other than the person on the card. The Tillman is one of them and I thought it would be a good example to assist you. |

I guess this really comes into play on a card like the 1963 Pete Rose RC. I'd venture that there are a significant number of authentically signed reprints of that card, possibly even more than the authentic card. If PSA doesn't grade the card (dual grade), then there is no way to distinguish signed reprints from signed authentic cards.
