It's not real but my best ebay buy ever (in 27ish yrs) was from a bidder that had a negative 2 feebdback. Yes, -2.... Those were the wild west days on ebay....it was awesome!

There's a bid on the red cobb now - it has an authenticity guarantee - so I assume it works out for the buyer. What's the purpose for the seller - assuming they know it's fake? A slim chance it passes authentication? Or is it just a clueless seller?

I would presume a clueless seller. He has a Barry Bonds 87 Topps Tiffany also at $1,000.
