1933 Goudey HOF Lefty Grove Philadelphia Athletics - Ends Sunday 2/11 @ 8pm CST

This week I have four lots that each contain a single Prewar card, including a 1933 Goudey Lefty Grove, a 1939 Play Ball Lon Warneke, a 1925 Zeenut and a Diamond Stars card.

This lot consists of a 1933 Goudey card of Hall of Fame pitcher Lefty Grove. This card has had its borders trimmed off, and there are double the amount of corners on this example due to expert corner clipping. Some wrinkling, especially in corner regions, is present, and there is a scratch mark below his glove. Still a nice (in my non-jaded eyes) example of this all-time great pitcher.

Minimum opening bid is $1 for this and my other 3 lots of Prewar cards, and the bidding increment should be in whole dollars. Bids with a time stamp of 8:00 pm CST on closing night or earlier are valid, anything after that is considered an unsuccessful bid.

The shipping if you win one of my auctions this week will be in a padded envelope at a reduced price of $3.00, for two or three cards it will also be $3.00 total. Win all 4 auctions and the shipping will be FREE.

Don't get Lefty out of placing a bid on this original bad boy of the 1933 Goudey card gang. I'm not a betting man, but I imagine there is a bet you can place about how much time will be left in the game when the 8pm CST bell rings...I am pretty sure it will be with 2:42 remaining in the third quarter.

Don't take my professionally accurate estimate on it though, just bid before the auction closes.
