Yankees vs. Dodgers, Mickey Mantle vs. Jackie Robinson. The home team won the first four games of the series, and with the series tied at 2 games each the Yankees crushed the Dodgers in game 5, fueled by a Mickey Mantle Grand Slam. Game 6 was all tied up in the bottom of the 9th, when Billy Martin drove in a run from second with a walk-off single, giving the Yankees their 16th World Series championship, and 5th in a row. Martin was named series MVP.
