I am regretfully parting with this gorgeous teens-era James Brine Black Leather Base Mitt. This is a super attractive buckle-back Mitt with its James Brine Patch remaining completely intact. The condition of the Mitt is stunning, with exterior black leather that is every bit as smooth as a baby's butt.

No holes, tears, ink writing, restoration or other detractors to condition... just as nice an example as you'll ever find. The inner lining is perfect as well... feels amazing on the hand. The brown lacing is all-original and creates a wonderful contrast against the black leather. You'd never know this gem is over 100 years old, as it has been beautifully preserved.
