Where do you think this card end up at?
There is ANOTHER 1915 Cracker Joe Jackson SGC 2 in Mile High's new auction!!! WOW! https://milehighcardco.com/LotDetail...entoryid=96981 ![]() https://bid.robertedwardauctions.com...?itemid=161686 The last PSA 2 sold for $63k at Heritage in May of this year. A SGC 1 that had a couple small holes in it just sold a couple weeks ago for $30k @ Heritage also. Last edited by Madi$on18joshua; 12-01-2023 at 12:35 PM. I’m thinking 42-44k range realistically. I’m interested in seeing others thoughts also. This auction has many great Jackson items in it.

$42-44k is a good guess but it's so hard to tell with a card like this. Could easily see a bidding war push it north of $50k or even inline with the $63k or above. IMO the third best looking CJ across the 14-15 sets, just behind the Cobb and Matty (probably just my bias for big names over aesthetics)... a serious collector with deep pockets would love to add this one to the collection or perhaps, sadly, see it as an opportunity to flip down the road. Best Shoeless Joe card available.

This thread should be moved to the main forum where all proper discussions about ending auction prices on extremely expensive cards belong.

100% agree about the time of year being an issue but anything below $50k is a great buy IMO. Ive gotten some really great buys in December. This is one of my favorite cards, it absolutely beautiful. Do you think the SGC hurts or helps the price, or does it have a neutral effect? |

it seems like a split auction
many great cards seem low at this point but seems to low like the bidders are waiting till the final day and others like the 1916 Gimbel Ad back Jackson and the 2 Rookie Jacksons that seems to have a stronger price than I would have thought at this point. I believe it will POP and be over $50K

I cannot believe its not on the first page, its literally buried in the auction, lot number 940. I would be extremely frustrated if it were my card, IMO this should be on the first page in the top 25 lots! |

No doubt it’s a beast, but it is a 1915. I would say the 1914 (3x rarer than the 1915 and a year earlier), is a top ten iconic card.
I really like that the 1915 example has the caramel stains- very nice card/example. Good luck to all. |

Yeah 💯 . I often group Jackson and Cobb 14/15 images in referral to top card. I should have said pose. The rarity of 14’ is def taking precedence in each of those CJ issues. 14’ certainly scarce and more value, yet not a crazy amount of 15’s either making them pretty coveted as well. I’d like to have each year in my collection.

The caramel stain in the lower right of the card anchors the image which has always had a "falling off to the left" dynamic, that's what gives this card superior eye appeal, that and the really cool caramel stains on the front of his uniform/sleeves.

That'll never happen. One of my pet peeves about bidders. I can't understand why people keep bidding stuff up all day, every day.
