Default Need help with t206 value!

I am buying this card in a few weeks. I made what I thought was a good offer and he accepted. The only comp sale was a 3 that PWCC sold for $6400. This one has better eye appeal. Unfortunately the tape on the back caused SGC to deem it a 1. I would really appreciate to hear what others think the actual value of this card is. Thanks for looking and I look forward to hearing everyone’s opinions on this one.

Whatever value it gets deemed by others, great looking card. Would be happy to have it in my collection. Nice pick up 👍

Default Comp

A 1.5 went for $3720 in Heritage earlier this year, for what it's worth.

Yeah 3k seems about right. Maybe a bit less. Great card!

If you got this card for $3K or less, I think you did very well. The tape may well be able to be removed without damage to the back but even if not it is worth more than $3K IMO because the front displays very nicely.

It’s a great looking card. The problem is the value is in the back and the tape covers the value/back. I think that would make it half the 1.5.

For what it’s worth, I personally think you should be able to have the tape removed, by a professional, and resubmit for a numerical grade/not an alteration
