Thank you Casey. Didn't think there'd be much. That confirms it.

There was just a sale recently, but something weird happened I think

https://www.ebay.com/itm/266358875767

Aug 3, sold for $150 apparently as a BIN

like 20 minutes later, same card sold again, this time for $320

https://www.ebay.com/itm/266358884444

then the following day it sold as an auction for $571

That looks like some funny business right there.

I had it purchased at the $15o buy-it-now. I also purchased a Hindu Overall portrait from the same seller. Both transactions were canceled. Reaching out to the seller, he stated he was having trouble listing the cards correctly (believe there was also a Hindu Clarke portrait, same thing). Long story short, I saw it (ultimately) re-listed as a 24hr auction and was able to win it (a decent amount more than $15o &#128556. Rolled the dice a bit with all the weirdness, but worth the risk and happy to have it.

There was a PSA 5 Old Mill Devlin that sold Jan. 17 on eBay in a Probstein auction for $3,595. It seems weird that VCP didn’t pick that up.

There also was a raw Old Mill Devlin that sold Sept. 5, 2021, on eBay for $3,250.

It’s a tough card. The PSA pop report shows only two confirmed copies, total. However, the 5 isn’t shown on the pop report.

VCP misses a lot of cards. On multiple occasions, my own purchases from major auctions were not listed without my intervention. Imagine how many of the broad universe are not tracked....

Devlin was the 2nd to last Old Mill to be confirmed, the PSA 7 that sold in Heritage in 2018 is the one that I used to get it confirmed on t206resource.

Appreciate all the info on this one and thank you for the congrats on the pick-up (card is in hand Rocky, posted in the August pick-up thread). I also received a "good job" message from the gentleman that, in my opinion, has the most impressive T2o6 set ever put together...so that was neat.
I do remember the 2021 $3250 Ebay auction (actually started a thread about it). I didn't know about sells since then, and whether that was an
outlier or a viable comp. Holding onto it for now (but with 25% of the monster still to go, doesn't hurt knowing where some potential funding might come from if need be).

That is interesting Patrick. Do you happen to know the last one?

Here is the current pop count between PSA/SGC

Old Mill - 4
Sov 150 - 13 (I have one listed in BST)
Sov 350 - 27
Hindu Brown - 23

The Sovereign count is not exact, because there are a bunch of PSA holders out there that just say "Sovereign" or "T206" and don't indicate whether it is a 150 or 350.

If you ever decide to downgrade slightly in rarity, I'd recommend the Sovereign 150 for the price, as a Hindu will be very expensive as well. That said, that Old Mill is a gem and is by far his toughest off back.

I do it was Seymour (batting). I did have a small scan of a Seymour Old Mill in a Beckett holder but I wasn't confident enough to positively confirm it until a second example eventually showed up so I guess you could technically say Devlin is the most recent Old Mill confirmation.
