1976 Topps Baseball Uncut Sheets with Hank Aarons final card

At one time I had a hobby room decorated with uncut sheets. A very nice 1971 was the center piece. Most were sold off a decade ago. But I held on to this pair of 76 sheets. The main reason was the Aaron's. Perched on the upper right Top row card 660 3rd row orher seat card number 1. Along with Aaron both of the sheets are packed with Star power. 76 was a pivotal year in my early collecting. I was 15 and All my friends and school mates had given up collecting Baseball cards years before. I had been buying complete sets since 1973 but still loved opening packs and putting sets together but 1976 was my last year of doing that. I still have memories of pulling my first 76 Aaron Seaver Bench Munson..etc. So these remained and off and on they decorate my Hobby room still. Anybody else with Uncut sheets from a favorite set??

My first set was 1978 - in 1977, my friend gave me all his Star Wars cards because he had moved on to baseball. It took me another year, but in April of 1978 I go an issue of Dynamite Magazine that contained an uncut panel of 6 cards and I was hooked. In addition to the complete mint set, it's album contains several items from the Topps Vault, including the original photographs used for the Tekulve and Darrell Evans cards.

I also have purchased over the years the A, C, D and E printing sheets. Still need the B sheet (Murray rookie) and the F sheet (rookie cards). Have them hung in my home office:

I have a 1961 sheets (missing one row)… it’s a little rough but present pretty well.
I think Gibson, Drysdale and Spahn are on the sheet. The sheet is framed with glass on front and back, so you can view both sides.

Nice Group of 78's I. Saw a sheet with Murray rookie up for auction recently. Thank you for sharing and good luck finishing up your set. They do look great displayed!!

My year is 1979 . I have 2 uncut sheets. One has the Ozzie Smith rookie and the other has Bob Horner Rookie. Would like to get the other 4.

John, great sheets - I love the 1976 set and think it has some beautiful photography. The Oliver card on your sheet being one of them. And my favorite card of all time is the 1976 Bench.

One lingering question that I'll probably take to my grave though is, "Why would Topps publish a card of Mike Schmidt bunting?" And of course the follow on is "As a manager, why would you ever give him the bunt sign?"

A number of years ago, there were a number of sheets from the 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set. The most collected card in the set seems to be the "Ted Williams Signs" card. Somehow I missed that particular sheet

Looking at the card close up I am not sure he is bunting. His right hand is down near the knob of the bat. If bunting I would expect hand closer to barrell? But Schmidt was a team guy who I am sure would bunt if he got the sign. But I agree not many Managers gonna give Schmidt a bunt sign....

As for the 59 Fleer Ted Williams when I bought my set in the mid 70's there was no #68 But the seller included a sheet similar to yours with a #68. It was nice but difficult to store. In 1975 I attended what was called the first Baseball card show in NJ 2 days hosted in Irvington NJ. And a Seller had unopened boxes of 59 Fleer that he was selling on Saturday for $5 by Sunday they were $3... I bought 1 and traded it way.....way to soon.
