Memory Lane has a E90-2 Wagner up for sale in its auction:
https://memorylaneinc.com/site/bids/...e?itemid=75929 While it is a great card and I am sure will go for top dollar, I am not seeing how this card ended up in a PSA 5 holder. Especially with this writeup in the card description: Synonymous with his revered T206 subject, the classic Honus Wagner portrait image has been portrayed on the obverse side with this offering's imposing illustration exhibiting extremely robust facial and gray uniform hues. The imposing blue background has eluded any notable defects, and the image somewhat favors the right edge between four relatively clean borders. Finding an E90-2 Wagner that is crease free is a near-impossible task, yet this stunning memento appears to have eluded any glaring creases. While there might be a faint wrinkle under heavy magnification, both sides have managed to side-step any obtrusive surface flaws to the naked eye. For full disclosure, preventing a higher assessment is even corner wear and some diminutive enamel peel situated on the upper left corner, rendered virtually negligible versus the remaining outstanding aesthetics. Am I just being too harsh on this card? Are similar E90-2s in PSA 5 holders like this example? |

I'd guess a re-holder from a 5 issued long ago.......

Maybe they gave each side a 2.5 for a total of 5 LOL

Its an old cert. I would rather have my SGC 4, but of course I am biased.
Bottom line, any way you slice it, the E90-2 in Memory Lane is a great looking example of one of the most iconic players and poses. Its a total beast and someone is going to have an awesome example of a great card, albeit maybe over-graded (and they will pay up for that privilege!). |

The ML one looks narrow?

Might be a bit narrow, but appears original from the scans presented. Similar cut to mine.

Those two SGC 4s are two of the best examples that I have seen. Beautiful cards.

deacon phillippe I have in an SGC 60 holder that doesn't stand a chance of getting into 60 holder by today's standards.

The goalposts have obviously moved when grading vintage cards. Yesterdays "5" is today's "3".

It seems we have returned, or perhaps never left, to the bloviated hyperbole labored out in the description.
Sure it is a great card that I would love to have, but it is not meaning of life. |

Agree with Dave, way overgraded and should be a 3. Bidders are way overpaying for this card. Remember, buy the card, not the holder.
