FS: Walter O'Malley Signed Handwritten Letter to Umpires
Selling a Walter O'Malley handwritten and signed letter from May 31, 1955. On the heels of a Dodgers' game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates where Umpires Hal Dixon & Augie Donatelli had to work without colleagues Jocko Conlan and Artie Gore, O'Malley sends his personal thanks to the umpires and how appreciated their efforts were. The letter has multiple folds but a strong signature and some box scores affixed to the letter and is attached to cardboard with additional clippings attached on back.
