SOLD: 1911 Cabinet Photo NY Giants Merkle, Ames and Wilson
FS: 1911 Cabinet Photo of New York Giants players Fred Merkle, Art Wilson, and Red Ames. Great photo standing in front of the Malto-Brau billboard in right field at the Polo Grounds, probably late in the 1911 season.
Cabinet comes from the Ames estate and in excellent condition with minor wear. That is Ames' ink notation on the reverse, so you get a partial autograph as well. Light "ex coll Red Ames" notation in pencil also on reverse. Cabinet size is approx 5-18" x 7-1/4". Photo size is 3-1/8" x 5-1/4". Price: SOLD shipped OBO. Paypal G/S. PM with interest.
