Im a big nellie fox collector, just picked this card up as I feel the 1959 year defines nellie's career.
Either the signature was a rushed one or its a forgery, I'm not certain. Im leaning toward the rushed signature but I wanted to post here for others to chime in. Thanks for all of your opinions. |

Its too faint for me to say.
Here is a signed pc from his bowling alley (that still is in operation) about 20 miles from me. ![]() ![]() |

I'm not saying yours is fake, but the way he signed his capital F, as printed on the card, is distinctive and unique. I have some signed color White Sox photos from either 59 or 60 and his F is like the F on the card.

I purchased a 1959 White sox sheet last year and the Fox was a clubhouse and kinda looked like your card. When he wrote his first name the s and the o both look the same. But on your card the s is clearly an s. NOW I am no auto guy and this is a small sample size. JMHO trying to help..

I circled the three points that I don't like. The beginning of the "N" in Nelson, Ive never seen a stem that long. The beginning of the "F" in Fox has a weird loop that I've never seen before out of hundreds examples. and the tip point is always overlapped like a cursive L, this is strait and pointed.
This card is PSA Authenticated, but I still feel its either a rushed signature or fake. If its fake, I would like to return for my money back. Thats my scenario. I like the card itself, but the the autograph of "Fox" specifically the "F" makes me wonder. |

It looks labored to me. I wouldn’t buy it if offered to me. Doesn’t mean it can’t be good, it just means I’m not comfortable with it. I agree with the highlighted issues as well
