I bought my first 1971 numbered Bazooka baseball card this week and was wondering what color carboard the blank backs should be? Most of my regular Bazookas have gray blank backs, but this numbered 1971 Bazooka has more of a tan or cream colored back. Is that normal for 1971 numbered Bazookas?
Thanks, Rich |

Totally normal. They were only printed as a test and never actually made it onto boxes. So they don’t have quite the same stock as the rest.
Here’s a rare one.

Ugh, why did Randy Hundley have to be on the one nearly non existent panel.

SSPs are all fun and games until it’s one that you’re trying to find.
