I was gifted this antique ball that is about the size of a softball and has a leather cover. The stiching is a style I have never seen before on a ball. The leather feels like it's 1920-30, but I can't really tell.
Any one know what ball this is and from when? ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk |

They call it a playground ball or possibly a "Mushball". Unfortunately these are somewhat common and are not highly valued in the collecting community.

It is a softball. Just stitched differently. I used them in the 70’s.
