Amazing one of a kind bat. 42in, 54 oz, 8.75 barrel circumference. Solid wood. Lathe turned.
$750 Shipped PPFF or Check. Deep H&B burnt stamping 125 model bat. It’s huge. Hard not to laugh when you hold it in your hands. Thanks, Mark Last edited by antiquebaseballuniforms; 10-06-2022 at 09:55 AM. |

Maybe a stupid question, Mark, but what would make it worth so much?

Not being a bat guy, I was just curious what made it a mid-four figure piece?

Hi All - Good question. It's a rare bat, and to be honest, not sure what the value/worth is at this moment, in 2022. There are not a lot in existence, and not a lot of comparisons. It is an advertising piece, display piece, which typically go for more money.
Is it worth $4,500? I really don't know. It's worth a lot to me, so there is just a certain amount of money that it would take to let it go. It's all relative. It's easy to know the value of a T206 red background Cobb, as there are literally dozens for sale at any given time, and easily go for above 5k on average for a low grade example. I'm just taking offers in case anybody is interested. Cheers, Mark |

Thanks, Mark, and good luck with it. One last question: are you sure it's a store display, some of those guys in the old days used enormous bats.

Thanks Hank. Yes, I’m sure. It’s enormous. If you held it in your hands you would see it’s not meant for use.
