Default 1953 Bowman Color Singles FS/FT

These would fit in well in a mid-grade set; there are no creases, wrinkles, and the registry on each card is bright.

Now the 1953 Bowman Color I have for sale or trade:

#4 Houtteman VG-EX 25/75 centering left to right, the bottom right corner has a small ding/crease in the white area, clean reverse, sharp clear image $9
#6 Ginsberg Ex-Mint 70/30 centering top to bottom, clear, bright registry, clean reverse $20
#17 Staley VG-EX 60/40 centering left to right and top to bottom, very light wear on 3 corners, the top right corner has a minor crease in the white area, clear registry and clean reverse $8
#20 Lenhardt VG-EX 45/55 centering left to right and top to bottom, top and bottom left corners have very light wear, the bottom right corner has a light corner crease in the white area, clear registry and clean reverse $8
#21 Garagiola EX 70/30 centering left to right and 25/75 top to bottom, two wax stains on the reverse, perfect registry with relatively straight corners $24
#37 Wilson EX 30/70 centering top to bottom, small ding at the bottom right corner, clear registry, and clean reverse $17
#45 Dropo VG-EX 45-55 centering left to right, all four corners have light wear, perfect registry, and clean reverse $10
#73 Pierce VG-EX 70/30 centering left to right and 30/70 centering top to bottom, small ding at the top left corner, the bottom corners are lightly "touched," one wax stain on the reverse, clear registry $20
#98 Rodriguez VG-EX near-perfect centering, all four corners show moderate wear, but are not rounded, top left corner has a small crease in the white area, image is extremely sharp and clear, the reverse is clean $12
#116 Yost EX 20/80 centering left to right, 65/35 top to bottom. All 4 corners near mint, clear, vivid front image and clean reverse $35
#119 Mitchell PSA 4.5 (42422861) no qualifiers 85/15 centering left to right, borders have a light cream hue, clear image, very sharp corners and a clean reverse $40
#131 Ryan VG-EX 25/75 centering left to right, minor diamond cut at the top and bottom of the card, tiny 1/8 smudge at the top right of the image, the rest of the image is clear and vivid, the reverse is clean $10

THE WANT LIST

1953 Bowman Color in raw, excellent or ex-mint condition: #68 Reynolds; #78 Furillo; #81 Slaughter; #85 Hemus; #101 Schoendienst; #127 Kryhoski; #132 Hutchison; #147 Koshorek

(I realize that what I am offering may not be a 1-for-1 trade. I would combine 2 or several for certain cards listed above; I am particularly interested in upgrading Furillo, Kryhoski, Hutchison, and Koshorek. Plus, I'd be willing to include any of the upgrades in the deal.

I can provide front and back images of each listed card upon request. Check my other listings for 1971 and 1972 Topps Baseball in the 1960-79 section and in the post-1980 section for various Topps Heritage Baseball cards. Thank you.

Bump. I added some more to my want lists. My 1953 Bowmans are cleaner than similarly described cards on eBay.

Hi Phil,
I have 2 of your wants that you may be interested in. I have a very clean Chiti and a super sharp Hutchinson that is off center 15/85, L-R. I can send pics if interested. I am interested in #68 Reynolds and #119 Mitchell. Let me know.
Thanks, Michael

Hello Michael,

Thank you for responding. I can trade the Mitchell as I have an extra, but I won't be able to trade the Reynolds until I find its upgrade. I would be interested in the Chiti, but on the Hutchison I'm looking for something closer to 60/40 in excellent condition. Send me an image of your Chiti and I'll send you one of the Mitchell and let see what happens from there.

Take care and happy collecting!

Phil aka Tere1071
