While those of us not attending The National are gently crying our eyes out in our lonely man-caves, trying to find a reason to go on as we're confronted by the pictures of other members' incrediblly glorious pick-ups - Ruth, Mantle, Cobb, Robinson, Koufax, Paige, Mays, Aaron, Clemente, Kingman
- I think we need to raise our spirits by posting our own great finds.I'll start. While moving some boxes containing 70's junk, I ran across this monstrous dust ball. This sucker would've made John Steinbeck blush!! Sure, there will be some who claim it's not a singular dust ball, as it's more of an amalgamation of smaller dust balls plus cat hair, but the contrarians (anti-dustites) will always be there spewing their dirt (pun intended). I won't let them win. I believe this dust ball is not only legitimate, but that it would receive a 9 from the foremost leader in dust professionalism, PSA (Pledge™ Soot Authenticators). dustball01.jpg It's also available for trade, as I am mainly looking for regional grime deposits. LMK what you have available.

I picked up a similar mini-version, but then placed it down into the trash can where it belongs.
Brian (by the looks of it, the trash can is probably where I recently rediscovered these two mysterious beauties) |

I found this little guy enjoying a cupcake on his first birthday! He’s our grandson and yesterday was our first chance to meet him in person. He’s a 10 on any grading scale!

In 1975 I found a $20 bill on the sidewalk in NYC. Since my allowance was a dollar a week and an entire wax box of Topps card was less than that, it was a heck of a find...and you know what I spent it on!
