Prison Baseball Photo?

Probably a long shot but I think this is a prison yard and I'm wondering if anyone can Identify which one. It looks like the 2nd baseman has an "S" on his jersey. Blank back. Thanks!

It sure is a prison - San Quentin. Take a look at the photos of the same gate taken during a field day event in 1930:

Damn! Pole vault guy has about a 3 inch layer of sand to fall on top of.
