Does anyone have a spreadsheet checklist including all the T3 back variations?

Buzz,
I have one. It’s an excel spreadsheet with all sorts of data, notes, etc, but here’s how to make your own. Series 1 (1-50): create three columns for each card (51 cards including the McIntyre B&C variation). 1-75 back, 1-76 back, no-offer back. The only cards that weren’t produced were - McIntyre - Brooklyn w/1-76 and w/no-offer. 151 cards total. Series 2 (77-126): create two columns for each card (53 cards including the Doolan, Paskert, Tenney variations). Checklist back and Ad-back. The only cards that weren’t produced were - Doolin w/checklist, Paskert C&P w/checklist, Tenney NY&B w/checklist. 103 cards total. Hope that helps. Craig |

Were all the series 1 printed with a no ad back?
In series 2, which checklist back is used?

Buzz,
50 cards in the first series were printed with the no-offer back (no McIntyre -Brooklyn). The second series checklist shows cards 51-126. |

In both Series, which backs are ranked easy to more difficult to obtain ?

In the first series, the No-Offer back is easily the most scarce and certainly the most scarce of any back in either series. The 1-75 back is more difficult than the 1-76 back.
I think population reports can tell much of the tale in regard to the second series, with ad-backs being generally harder to find than checklist backs. |

Hey Craig, how close have you come to a “master” set ever?

Hi Paul,
Thanks for asking. I’m not exactly sure, but I think at one point I had around 230/254. It was difficult getting motivated to go after both the 1-75 and 1-76 backs. I’ve since taken quite a few steps backward, but the fun is in the chase and so maybe it’s time to start running again. Happy Collecting, Craig |

Hi Leon,
I’m not quite sure what to make of these. Several showed up on the market a few years ago (I bought a handful of them). All were blank backs and all (as I recall) were trimmed down like that. T3 Proofs are blank backed but these aren’t proofs. T3s were constructed like a ‘sandwich’ with a very thin front and back paper attached to a thicker center piece. I’m guessing these may have never had the backs attached. As to why they were trimmed, I couldn’t say. Technically a rare back, but not a regular issue back. Best, Craig |

While we're talking about the checklist - does anyone have an image of #76 Jack Johnson with the tougher no-offer back? I believe this exists on all boxers, but Johnson's apparent late signing with the lithographers makes his ATC cards have odd print patterns. I'd just like to confirm if this one actually exists. The PSA pop report doesn't break out the checklist backs.

The #76 Jack Johnson - No-Offer definitely exists. I don’t personally have one, but have seen many and am guessing a few people here have an example.
