Hey, I have a whole bunch of beautiful doubles available for trade, many in high grade. Ultimately, I would need to keep one of each for my sets (of course, I have a preference for which cards Id like to hold on to, but may be open to trading either card from the various pairs presented), so the 'other cards' are on the trading block for the right deal.
1966 & 1959 Willie Mays. Extremly tough #1 card in the 1966 set, and the 59's look quite nice... ![]() Two beauties from 1967: #150 Mickey Mantle (one is the mysterious red dot variation) and the pain-in-the-butt high number, #580 Rocky Colavito... ![]() The much sought after high numbers, 1967 #600 Brooks Robinson (the 5 has perfect centering and the 8OC isn't too bad at all) and 1961 #577 Hank Aaron All Star... ![]() Arguably the toughest Mickey Mantle card to get from the 60's, 1969 #500 White Letter variation (the very minor 'miscut' is on back), and 1968 #177 Nolan Ryan rookie card... highgradedoubles05-mantleWLryanRCx.jpg The wildly expensive and rare 1967 #128 Ed Spiezio variation, where part of his name is missing, and the sweet 1972 #595 Ryan Express (with him donning his Mets uniform while 'wearing' a painted-on Angels hat)... ![]() The king of 1972 football high numbers, #343 Joe Namath In Action, and knuckleballing 1961 high number, #545 Hoyt Wilhelm... ![]() Another king, His Royal HR High(number)ness, 1961 #576 Roger Maris, coupled with tough 1972 'Traded' high number, the great #754 Frank Robinson... ![]() Perhaps my favorite Say Hey card of all time (and not in any way looking bad for being deemed OC), 1972 #49 Willie Mays, and the wickedly low POP 1961 high number, #560 Barry Latman... ![]() A really cool (blank back) regional 1966 East Hills card (just a little O/C top to bottom), #21 Roberto Clemente (the pic is an amalgam of separate scans), and if you're into low POPs, get a load of this. The following scan of extremely tough 1971 Fleer World Series (Laughlin) 1972 A's vs. Reds 'update' cards represents one quarter of all the PSA 9 #70's on the planet... ![]() A PSA 10 Nolan Ryan card from the height of his career, and another seriously HTF 1971 Fleer World Series (Laughlin) 'update' card, 1975 Reds vs. Red Sox... ![]() The royalty of the outfield, Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays, featured on the 1962 #18 Managers' Dream card, and very tough 1961 Yankees high number, #531 Jim Coates (with very curious qualifiers)... ![]() An insanely tough card to come across, 1969 Topps #567 Pirates Rookies (No Black Outline on Title), and the killer (pun intended) hard-to-find even remotely centered/lacking an extreme portside tilt 1972 Topps card, #52 Harmon Killebrew In Action... ![]() The wickedly rare 1973 #280 Al Kaline 'Band Aid on his forehead' variation, and the enigmatic key to the 1977 Topps Burger King Yankees set, #23 Lou Piniella... ![]() The much sought after 1963 Fleer SP unnumbered checklist, and the really nice (although he seems to be a little startled) 1970 #500 Hank Aaron... ![]() The very much underappreciated 1967 Laughlin World Series #61 Mickey Mantle (without address on back), and another seriously hard to find even remotely centered 1972 card, #434 Johnny Bench IA... ![]() The tough 1967 #86 Mike McCormick variation, and talk about a card jam packed with talent, the absolutely beautiful 1968 #490 Super Stars... ![]() A beautiful PSA 10 1973 Kellogg's #46 Tom Seaver card, and the key rookie of the 1973 Topps set, #615 Mike Schmidt (the PD seems to refer to the fisheye on his hat?)... ![]() The really cool and hard to find 1971 Topps Greatest Moments #24 Bob Gibson, and one of the toughest/most expensive 1962 Green Tints to find in high grade, #117 Gary Geiger (Discussed here: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=226221)... ![]() If you're interested in talking about a trade, take a gander at the list of things I'm generally seeking (below) and LMK what you have. Obviously, I would be looking for big hits in return for any of them and welcome talk of a package deal. I will be happy to answer any questions or provide further scans/pics, etc. Disclaimer: Since people will inevitably ask, "What 'trade value' do you put on these cards?," I'll say this. I don't have a specific dollar trade value in mind, as it really just boils down to deciding whether or not it's worth trading for what somebody has to offer. We all know what cards are basically 'worth' in this hobby of ours. I am always very interested in these types of things: HOF'ers in nice shape from the 50's and 60's, graded or ungraded Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams, Roberto Clemente, Babe Ruth and Nolan Ryan cards Tough to find errors and variations from the 50's through the early 70's 1971 Topps Greatest Moments 1964 Topps Stand-Up HOF'ers (need virtually any in nice shape) 1961-67 Topps high numbers and SP's Major Rookie Cards 1963 Fleer BB stars and HOF'ers in high grade 1967 Laughlin World Series (with address on back) in high grade 1971 Fleer World Series Updates (1971-1977) in very high grade 1953 Bowman Color BB 1954 Bowman HOF'ers (and perhaps a starter set in exmt shape) 1954 Red Heart BB (need virtually any in nice shape) 1972 Topps high numbers graded 9 or above that I still need (open to cards with qualifiers if they still look pretty nice) Pre-war cards (possibly) And who knows what else. Sets, oddball things from the 50's and 60's?? I may be open to a wide range of things. Minor technical note: Occasionally cards are/were scanned separately and placed on top of existing scans (to replace cards that were traded away, etc.), so pay no mind to any anomalies. ****I prefer to trade, not sell, but you can shoot me an offer if you'd like.****
