Default Ebay Listing Mis-graded?

Hi All,

Was looking at this card on ebay and was really confused. I am no grading expert, but those corners look near pristine. Am I crazy for thinking this looks more like a PSA 5 than a 2.5?

P.S., I was thinking about bidding, so put it in the B/S/T forum, but apologies in advance if this belongs in the other forum.

Not sure what is on the front surface to the right of his cheek ... paper lift? Also the back is dirty / stained; at the top left appears to be maybe mildew and the top right might be some chipping.

Guessing its easier to see all this with the slab in-hand. Maybe a wrinkle that the scan isn't picking up?

It is certainly priced like it is under-graded

Could be paper loss on front, between his nose & mouth? Hard to tell despite a decent scan. The back is a bit dirty but not penalized for a stain?

Anyways, great card. Over priced for the grade.

Im always leery when they post the scan in a way that I can't scroll over the card and see it enlarged.

Good observations - they must give more credence to that than I would. My price range is typically in the PSA 3 range, and I am not used to seeing corners like that on my cards, so it instantly got my attention.

Definitely agree on the pricing! haha

Agreed! I will refrain from putting in my lowball offer for at least a few more days.

Oddly enough - The images that I post on ebay do NOT always do the "enlargement" thingy.

Some will and some wont - I have contacted eBay (to no avail) googled till my fingers became numb and still there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the behavior.

Now - Having said all of that. When I hover over the Doc White card the enlargement thing DOES work for me using Microsoft Edge Browser.
