Hey folks. I’m not a big autograph guy but am planning to send in some dark Topps heritage cards for submitted autos and would love to use silver ink. I’ve seen recommendations on other boards for the silver staedtler and wanted to get opinions on here. Thanks in advance!

To my knowledge staedtler does not make a permanent fine tip silver marker. Emphasis on permanent.
I have read reviews saying their standard silver marker is quite thick almost like a paint pen. That's personal preference if you like a thick or thin autograph. Assuming you care about the "permanent" claim like I do. I personally would go with a fine tip silver sharpie. If not staedtler is a great brand and I'm sure they will come out well. But if you ever want to get a standard card signed with blue marker or really any color. Use the fine tip staedtler lumocolor permanent markers. They are by far the best.

This is dead on. The staedtler silver looked nice but it wasn’t permanent. Even after a full drying I could smudge the ink on a test card. Ended up going silver sharpie, hopefully it turns out well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

+1 agreed
To me the preference of thick or thin autograph is important but even more so is the permanent aspect of it
